Sligo Environmental Network represents a network of people - individuals and groups - wishing to take positive environmental action in Sligo and create a healthy county for all. We organise local actions with the input and direction from members and are involved in our Public Participation Network. Our core group meets regularly. Summer Solstice Stories

Short Project Description:
We invited the people of Dublin to come and share their climate stories in our community garden.
Key drivers behind this action:
To thelp share knowledge of climate issues in a fun and engaging way, and to foster a connection to our environment.
Step by step guide:
Secured venue in Community Garden, shared poster on eventbrite and social media, invited all to speak, recorded and edited audio, released as podcast
Our main challanges were:
Hosting the night was a first for the MC and recording and editing was a first for us too.
Our positive outcomes:
A great night, people met each other and learned from each other, a podcast as an outcome.

The Maynooth Green Campus Committee (MGC) is officially in existence since December 2012. Crumlin Community Clean Up is a volunteer-run group based in Crumlin, Dublin, Ireland. The group activities is aimed at improving and sustaining the environment of the local area.
